APL launching new Thailand - South China service

Container line APL is launching a new service linking South China and Thailand.

The China Bangkok Express service will connect the South China ports of Nansha, Shekou and Hong Kong with Bangkok and Laem Chabang in Thailand.

According to APL it will offer the fastest transit time in the industry between Nansha and Bangkok of just four days and will be designed to handle breakbulk and reefer cargoes.

The new service will start on 18 April and tap into APL’s line haul network.

It is the latest in a slew of new services by APL, part of the CMA CGM Group, in recent weeks.
