Dynagas, Gaslog and Golar form LNG 'Cool Pool'

The pool is expected to start in September 2015 with 14 vessels of similar specification and will exclusively focus on charters of 12 months and under.

Dynagas is contributing three vessels to the pool; Gaslog three and Golar eight vessels. Crewing and technical management will remain the responsibility of the vessels' owners.

Dynagas ceo Tony Lauritzen will be responsible for running the pool, with Morten Nielsen as pool manager organising employment for each of the pool's vessels. Any vessels employed on a charter over 12 months will leave the pool.
