Former Clipper boss Vogel to take up the helm at Eagle Bulk
Former Clipper chief Gary Vogel has been appointed as ceo of Eagle Bulk.

Vogel will replace current ceo Stanley Ryan on 1 September, who will be returning to be an independent director the company.

Ryan took up the top post in March after then ceo Sophocles Zoullas quit the company that completed an exit from Chapter 11 restructuring in October 2014.

Ryan commented: “This is a significant step forward for Eagle Bulk.  We are fortunate to have Gary and the deep commercial experience he brings. I am looking forward to working with him in his role as ceo and a fellow director."
