Frontline and Tankers International spawn chartering partnership
Frontline Management Tankers International (TI) have formed a new company to charter their VLCC fleets.

VLCC Chartering Ltd will match cargoes to suitable vessels from the combined VLCC fleets of Frontline and TI. The companies expect to reap benefits through fuel savings from voyage optimisation, reducing time pressures that necessitate higher speeds and shortening distances travelled to collect cargoes through access to a larger fleet.

The new company is expected to start operations on 6 October from Frontline and TI offices, and will be jointly owned by the two companies which will sub-contract work to it.
