The staff strength of Glander International Bunkering Brazil is increasing from three to 11 bringing in a team from bankrupt OW Bunker. With the expansion the bunker trader is moving to a new office in central Rio de Janerio.
The office will be headed by Flavio Ribeiro, who was previously managing director of OW Bunker Brazil.
“Brazil is an important geographic location to us and in order to meet a growing demand from our esteemed clients, we have enhanced our presence in this market,” said Christoffer Berg Lassen, managing director and ceo of Glander.
“Glander International Bunkering’s strategy is to maintain its role as a leading bunker and lubricant trading company worldwide. Hence, it is a natural progression that we have increased our number of employees in Brazil and acquired a larger office space.
