Justin Webb to host 2014 Seatrade Awards
The 26th Annual Seatrade Awards will be hosted this year by renowned journalist and broadcaster Justin Webb.

Held this year at London's Guildhall on 14 April, the event will take place in the presence of Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, together with 400 industry leaders and professionals from around the world..

Webb's extensive international experience as a presenter on Radio 4's Today programme and previously as the BBC's North American editor and European correspondent, positions him perfectly to host this evening of global industry recognition.

The awards will be judged by an independent panel of top industry executives, chaired by IMO Secretary-General, Koji Sekimizu and comprising The Rt. Hon. The Lord Clinton-Davis, PC, former chairman, ACOPS, John Denholm, president, Bimco, Pierfrancesco Vago, chairman, CLIA Europe, John Coustas, chairman, HELMEPA, Roberto Cazzulo, chairman, IACS, Masamichi Morooka, chairman, ICS, John Platsidakis, chairman, Intercargo, Graham Westgarth, chairman, Intertanko, and David Cotterell, director, OCIMF.

The finalists for the 26th Awards will be announced in the first week of March 2014.

In keeping with the non-profit making motives of the Seatrade Awards scheme, Seatrade will make a donation from the proceeds to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and The Mission to Seafarers.
