In a shot in the arm for Vancouver’s bid to be an international maritime centre Norden has opened its second North American office in the Canadian city.
The company’s ninth office global will be headed by Mark LaFrankie who will transfer from its US office in Annapolis.
“Norden has a strong presence with many port calls on the West Coast. We expect the new office in Vancouver to provide a deeper service to existing customers and create new relations,” said Christian Vinther Christiansen, head of Norden’s dry operator.
“The office will also strengthen the growing Americas/Asia business and nicely link our three offices in Asia with our now four offices in the Americas – we utilise our scale combined with proximity to our clients to add, capture and deliver value."
Norden is headquartered in Denmark and has offices in Annapolis, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago, Melbourne, Shanghai, Singapore and Mumbai.
