This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Seatrade Awards the longest running awards scheme in the shipping and maritime industries. Over the last 30 years the Seatrade Awards have adapted to reflect the changes in the industry continously rewarding excellence and innovation.
From the outset the Seatrade Awards was honoured with the support International Maritime Organization (IMO) and other industry organisations.
“For over the 30 years, we believe that Seatrade Awards are the oldest maritime awards scheme of their kind in the world, we hope and believe we have maintained the principles and objectives that we set out all those years ago in our first conversation with IMO secretary general and we have tried to adjust programme in line with the evolution of the industry,” says Chris Hayman, chairman of Seatrade.
The awards provide a unique opportunity for your company, staff and partners to be recognised for their efforts in an industry that can all too often seem to go unnoticed. “This is really a wonderful honour…sometimes we wonder whether we are doing it all under water and nobody notices, we really appreciate the award,” comments Dr William Moore from The American Club, 2017 winner of the Investment in People Award.
