OSG cuts back its workforce

OSG cuts back its workforce
New York: Myles Itkin has left his post as vice president, cfo and treasurer at Overseas Shipholding Group (OSG) as part of a plan to implement widespread redundancies by the financially troubled shipowner.      

Ian  Blackley will serve as the cfo and treasurer of the company effective immediately.  Blackley has been the senior vice president and head of International Shipping Operations.

OSG sought bankruptcy protection last year and high profile ceo Morten Arntzen left the company earlier this year.
