SapKen said its Mexican arm SapuraKencana Mexicana S.A.P.I de C.V had been awarded its maiden contract to install structures and superstructures of fixed marine platforms, pipe laying and lifting of major power generation equipment valued at between $41.2m and $98.1m.
In Indonesia, the company in a consortium with PT Encona Inti Industri, will take on a contract to transport and install a 14i nch x 200 km gas pipeline from the Kepodang field offshore to the onshore receiving facility in Muriah PSC, Central Java for $97.5m.
In Vietnam, SapKen will take on jobs for the installation services for nearshore and offshore pipeline for phase 1 of the Thai Binh – Ham Rong Gas Distribution and Gathering System Project in north Vietnam and the H5-WHP topside and pipelines for the Te Giac Trang Field Development Project as well as offshore facilities for the Thai Binh Development Project Blocks 102 and 106, the latter two projects in offshore Vietnam.
And finally, in India SapKen has been awarded a contract for the provision of transport and installation services for the PB Gas Lift Riser Replacement Project at Panna Offshore Field, located approximately 95km offshore north-west of Mumbai by BG Exploration and Production India.
It has previously been reported that SapKen had also bid for a portion of India's Oil & Natural Gas Corp’s Mumbai High South phase three redevelopment project, worth between $200m and $300m.
