Vessel berths at Sabine Pass for first US LNG export cargo
The LNG carrier Asia Vision berthed at Sabine Pass terminal is expected to carry the US’ first LNG export cargo.

According to Genscape the vessel Asia Vision berthed at Sabine on 21 February having been waiting out in the Gulf for a number of weeks following delays in the start-up of Sabine by Cheniere.

It said the Asia Vision was “most likely” to take an export cargo to either Brazil or Europe.

A second LNG carrier Energy Atlantic is reported to be waiting in the Gulf.
