Yinson inks $5.4bn FPSO charter contract with Petrobras

Malaysia’s Yinson has signed letters of intent with Brazil’s Petrobras for the provision of a FPSO under a 25-year charter worth $5.4bn.

The FPSO, Marlim 2 FPSO, will work in the Marlim Field located offshore Brazil in the northeastern part of the Campos Basin.

Marlim 2 FPSO is expected to commence operation by the first quarter of 2023.

Yinson will also provide operation and maintenance services during the charter phase of the FPSO.
