The Israeli-owned line said it had added a second New York call to its Zim Container Service Atlantic (ZCA) after calling Kingston. Rotation for the service now is - Haifa – Piraeus – Genova – Tarragona –Halifax – New York –Savannah – Kingston – New York – Tarragona – Ashdod.
“The new rotation improves transit times to both West and East Mediterranean, offering a premium service with best in market transit time from New York to East Mediterranean, while maintaining the well-established port coverage, schedule integrity, stability and reliability of ZCA,” Zim said.
The service connects into Central America, Caribbean and US west coast via Halifax and Zim’s hub in Kingston.
