Shanghai: Fifteen people died and one was missing after two cargo vessels collided near Shanghai on Wednesday, causing one of them to sink, state media reported.
The collision occurred in predawn darkness near the mouth of the Yangtze River, Xinhua news agency said.
One person was rescued, the agency reported, offering no other details on the circumstances of the collision. [31/01/08]
