Shanghai: Fifteen sailors have gone missing after a North Korean-registered cargo ship sank in strong gales in the Yellow Sea off China.
The 69-meter-long vessel, Kang Bong, went down 120 sea miles off Lianyungang Port in China's eastern province of Jiangsu early Friday after water entered the ship, Xinhua news agency reported on Saturday. ?A rescue ship and two helicopters were rushed out to find the missing sailors, but strong winds hampered the mission. ?Three of the crew were rescued and two bodies were recovered by 5 p.m. local time on Saturday.
