Mumbai: ABG Shipyard Ltd, the flagship company of ABG group, has posted a 39.6% increase in net profit at Rs 460m ($10.7m) for the quarter ended March 2008 as compared to Rs 329m in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company, which as two operational yards in Surat and Dahej (Gujarat) and plans to open a third in the near future, saw a total income of Rs 2.7bn during the period. [10/06/08]
