Kuala Lumpur: AET Tankers is moving into owning suezmaxes with $271.2m order at Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI). The tanker of MISC has ordered four 158,500 dwt tankers from SHI for delivery between April and October 2012. The vessels priced $67.8m each will the first suezmaxes to be owned by AET. "This will enable AET, the petroleum tanker arm of MISC, to deliver a more comprehensive global oil transportation services to its customers in the petroleum shipping industry," MISC said. [28/06/10]
