Hong Kong: Global logistics provider Agility has restructured its management for the Asia Pacific as part of a new regional management structure to engage specialists for industry vertical sectors and better manage its network of offices.
The company has set up five new areas and appointed leaders to manage these regions. It stated that the decision to strengthen its management team comes 'as a result of continuing high levels of growth in Asia Pacific'.
The five leaders and their areas are :
Olaf Tauschke will be in charge of North Asia encompassing Japan, Korea, Philippines, and Guam)
Mykell Lee will be in charge of South East Asia encompassing Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam
Mahesh Niruttan will be in charge of South Asia encompassing Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka
Mick Turnbull will be in charge of Australasia encompassing Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and South Pacific Islands
James Gagne will be in charge of Greater China encompassing China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. [11/03/08]
