Anglo Eastern debuts e-learning tool

Hong Kong: The Anglo-Eastern Group has launched an e-learning portal to maximize training opportunities for their 9,600 seafarers and shore staff. The company claim it is the first ship management company in the world to have designed and launched its own e-learning platform. The e-learning method allows Anglo-Eastern to reach out to all the seafarers at once, regardless of location and allows seafarers to learn in the convenience of their homes, at their own pace. Anglo-Eastern can now boast a fleet under full technical management of 207 ships.  [06/09/06]
