The Japan-Taiwan-Thailand Express (JTX) service will cover six key ports in Japan and offer industry-leading transit times from Taiwan to Thailand and Japan, APL said in a press release.
Shipments on board the JTX service can expect fast transit from Kaohsiung to Laem Chabang in six days and from Keelung to Tokyo in four days.
Additionally, APL customers will also gain access to its global network via APL’s extensive service network at the transhipment hubs of Hong Kong and Kaohsiung.
Commencing its first sailing from Tokyo on Feb 27, the JTX service will call the ports of Tokyo, Yokohama, Shimizu, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe, Keelung, Taichung, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Laem Chabang and Bangkok.
