Singapore: APM Terminals is eyeing terminal joint ventures on the Yangtze River. As it looks to continue growing in Asia APM Terminals is eyeing more secondary ports and inland connections. "We are looking at the Yangtze river, there is big growth in that market so we are considering ports in the Yangtze river," Martin Gaard Christiansen, ceo Asia Pacific for APM Terminals told reporters in Singapore on Tuesday. "These would joint ventures with port groups, supporting volumes coming out to Shanghai," he said, He said they were looking at a number of projects but did not give details or a timeframe.
