ASL Marine bags order for four offshore vessels worth $76m

ASL Marine bags order for four offshore vessels worth $76m
Singapore’s ASL Marine has clinched shipbuilding contracts worth approximately SGD91m ($72.6m) for the construction of four offshore vessels.

The vessels comprise of three infield support vessels and one seismic support vessel, ordered from customers in Australia and Norway, respectively.

The four newbuildings are scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2016.

Singapore-listed ASL Marine said that revenue from these new shipbuilding contracts will be recognised over the respective contract period.
