Singapore: Singapore's Ezion Holdings says its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ezion Investments has entered into a 50:50 jv with Australia-incorporated Allwonder Enterprises to run offshore support vessels for the Chevron controlled Gorgon gas fields in Australia.
The jv, signed in Singapore yesterday, is called OMSA Ningaui
Ezion has a fleet of 22 tugs, barges and offshore support ships. Singaporean offshore operator Ezra Holdings controls a 15.5% stake in Ezion. Ezion, along with partners Skilled Group of Australia and Hong Kong's Pacific Basin, bagged a $275m deal this May to provide offshore vessels to the massive Gorgon project. [14/10/09]
