Hong Kong: Titan Petrochemicals today announced Barry Cheung Chun Yuen (pictured) has left the post of chief executive to head up a major new initiative for the group. He will continue to serve the group as a board member in the new post of deputy chairman. Mr Cheung will also become the deputy chairman of Titan Oil, Titan's majority shareholder.
Tsoi Tin Chun will, in addition to his role of chairman of the board, take up the functions of the chief executive. Meanwhile, Patrick Wong Siu Hung has taken up the position of president, corporate office, to provide strategic and operational leadership for the group. Mr Wong formerly held several key positions in the group in its formative years and was chief operating officer of Titan before leaving the group in December 2005 to become ceo of Louis Dreyfus China.
