Shanghai: China Shipping-Jumbo Heavy Lift Co Ltd, a joint venture between Jumbo Shipping and China Shipping, has opened a representative office in Beijing, China writes Heavy Lift & Project Forwarding International.
Together with its existing office in Shanghai, which was set up in 2002, Jumbo aims to further strengthen its position in the Chinese project and heavy lift market. Simon Jiang, with more than 10 years of experience as a chartering and sales manager in worldwide shipping, has been appointed Branch Manager.
At the opening ceremony, attended by more than 50 guests, Michael Kahn, Jumbo Shipping's CEO, described Jumbo's history and philosophy and expressed his confidence in building long-term relationships with new and existing Chinese clients.
The CS-JHL joint venture draws on the expertise of both China Shipping, with its excellent international network, and Jumbo Shipping, with its rich experience in heavy lift transport. [29/06/10]
