Jakarta: Indonesian state port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) IV is claiming it will spend Rp485 billion (US$40 million) on a container terminal project in Kariangau, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. This is the third time in three years the operator has made this claim to bring containerization to the island of Borneo and until quay cranes dot the coast line feeder lines are advised to remain skeptical of the project coming to fruition.
