Ho Chi Minh City: In accordance with the bridgework for the Phu My Bridge, which extends over the Saigon River in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh city, the air draft of ships passing under the bridge will be restricted to about 37 meters during the five-week period from April 18 to May 27, 2009, reported the Kaiji Press. Construction on the Phu My Bridge is taking place near the mouth of the Saigon River, which is adjacent to Ho Chi Minh port's Vietnam International Container Terminals (VICT).
