Bumi Armada in jv with Shapoorji Pallonji for Ghana FPSO project

Bumi Armada in jv with Shapoorji Pallonji for Ghana FPSO project
Bumi Armada continues to build on its wins in the West Africa market, setting up a joint venture (jv), through its unit Bumi Armada Marine Holdings,  with Shapoorji Pallonji & Co and Cypress Energy to bid for a floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) project in Ghana.

Bumi Armada said in a stock market announcement that the jv company would be known as Bumi Armada Shapoorji Pallonji Ghana Ltd.

The joint venture would enable Bumi Armada Group to expand and carry out its business, as well as mitigate its financial and project risk exposure in any FPSO project awarded by leveraging on the parties’ strong history and experience in fabrication and construction related activities, it said.

Bumi Armada and Indian services giant Shapoorji Pallonji have collaborated before on various FPSO projects in India and other markets.
