Manila: The Bureau of Customs (BOC) seized on Monday two cargo ships caught allegedly smuggling bunker oil worth P60 million at North Harbor, Manila. Customs Commissioner Angelito Alvarez ordered the seizure of M/V Chelsea after its crew were seen by customs operatives pumping oil into another vessel, M/T China Venture on January 17.?Alvarez added that the owners of the two marine vessels "are now included in the long list of tax cheats who have learned the hard way that smuggling under the Aquino administration is no longer profitable."
