Bunker spill in Singapore port after collision
Singapore: There was a bunker spill in Singapore port waters on Sunday after a bulker and an LPG tanker collided.

The Hong Kong-registered bulker Sunny Horizon collided with South Korean-registered LPG carrier DL Salvia at about 14-00hrs on Sunday in Temasek Fairway.

According to the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) a bunker tank on the DL Salvia was breached and a quantity of “less than 60 tonnes” of bunkers was split. The spill was concentrated in Temasek Fairway.

There were no reports of injuries from the accident and MPA said port operations were unaffected.  [10/09/12]
