Busan Port Authority gains foothold in China with new Shanghai office

Busan Port Authority gains foothold in China with new Shanghai office
South Korea’s Busan Port Authority (BPA) has stepped foot into China by opening its Chinese representative office in Shanghai.

With the opening of the Shanghai office, BPA is looking forward to strengthening cooperation with its largest trade partner, China, and to improve services for Chinese clients.

As part of the overall efforts to venture into the Chinese market, BPA officials also visited Nantong port in the Yangtze River region in order to enhance cargo collecting capacity for Busan port through establishing a new network.

BPA also discussed the potential inauguration of the seaborne trade link with officials from Nantong and Haimen, and the parties agreed to exchange information and deepen relations.
