Busan port inks agreement for industry-academia cooperation

South Korea’s Busan Port Authority (BPA) has signed an agreement with Korea Maritime and Ocean University (KMOU) to implement the Busan North Port Redevelopment Project.

The industry-academia cooperation aims to inject professional knowledge and various ideas into the port project, and to explore a new maritime culture, according to BPA.

“The two parties will continue to cooperate with each other for successful implementation of Busan North Port Redevelopment Project, maritime port logistics, manpower training, and marine education through the agreement,” said Lim Ki-tack, president of BPA.
