Hong Kong: China Merchants Holdings International has bagged its second port deal in Vietnam.
CMHI will establish a $60m joit venture with local firm Sao Mai Ben Dinh Petroleum Investment to build a port complex spread over 163 ha in the Sao Mai-Ben Dinh area in Vung Tau Province in Vietnam.
CMHI will take a 65% share in the new venture. This follows the news earlier this year CMHI had formed a jv with Petrovietnam to develop an industrial port complex in Tien Giang Province. [24/10/08]
