Shanghai: About 9:30am this morning, an accident occurred in Jiangnan Shipyard, which led to two deaths and four injuries.
Dozens of tonnes of steel plate at the No. 2 slipway of the Chinese yard collapsed suddenly killing two workers instantly. Jiangnan is one of China's oldest shipyards. It recently relocated from the centre of Shanghai to an island to the north of the city to make way for this year's World Expo. [03/03/10]
