China's port handling capacity to increase 80% by 2010

Beijing:  China's port handling capacity is expected to increase by more than 80 percent during the 11th Five-Year Plan period (2006-2010), said Ye Jian, chairman of the China Ports Association this week. China's port handling capacity is expected to reach 6.1bn tons by 2010, and that of containers to be between at 120-140m teu. [24/01/07]
