London: Maritime London, the umbrella body for maritime services in the UK, reports that the City of London international financial and business cluster has strengthened direct links with China by opening three representative presences with the China-Britain Business Council - one each in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen - to promote the City's financial services industry. The representatives from the three offices, Andie Wang, Ingrid Liu and Eric Pan, were in London recently and were briefed by the chief executive of Maritime London on the importance of the maritime services sectors so as to be able to better promote the UK maritime service sectors and encourage inward investment from Chinese shipowners. [25/07/06]
