Mumbai: The CIMEX service that links Asia to India and the Middle East Gulf will feature a complementary string beginning the end of March, announced operators CMA CGM, ANL and CNC . Thus, service coverage from Asia will now be split into 2 strings operated with five 2,5000teu vessels each:
String 1 will be dedicated to serve the markets of the Gulf States, Iran and Iraq, and will follow the port rotation: Ningbo, Shanghai, Fuqing/Fuzhou, Chiwan, Port Kelang, Jebel Ali, Khorfakkan, Bandar Abbas, Port Kelang.

Whereas string 2 will be dedicated to Colombo and WC India supplemented with a call in the Gulf and will follow the port rotation: Xiamen, Shantou (which is a new port of call on the CMA CGM network), Chiwan, Laem Chebang, Port Kelang, Colombo, Nhava Sheva, Jebel Ali, Port Kelang.
