CMA CGM to take over EPIC service

Marseilles: CMA CGM has announced that it is to become the 100% operator of the EPIC service from Europe to India, Gulf and Pakistan as of May 2008. The two sling service is currently operated in conjunction with partners Hamburg Süd and Hapag Lloyd.
The new wholly owned CMA CGM service is to deploy six 4,200teu containerships (to later be replaced by 6,500teu capacity vessels) and will follow the port rotation:
Tilbury, Hambourg, Anvers, Le Havre, Port Said, Korfakkan or Jebel Ali, Port Qasim, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Malta, Tilbury.
