The move will become especially prescient as upcoming regulations for the reduction of sulphur force shipowners to choose between scrubber installations, LNG retrofits and Marine Diesel Oil (MDO) as fuel.
Other offerings on show include marine alarms, vessel automation, safety systems and communications systems, as well as custom engineered wiring harnesses and sensors for temperature, pressure, main propulsion and auxiliary engines, as well as speed, level, rudder angle and environmental instrumentation. Marintec provides an ideal platform for showcasing CMR’s designs, according to CMR-China general manager Sean Jiang.
“We are committed to investing in new product development to provide customers with solutions they require,” said Jiang. “I’m sure the benefits and quality of our systems will be of huge interest to customers visiting Marintec looking for added value and advanced engineering capabilities.”
