Mumbai: Cochin Port trust has taken steps to increase security at the port (pictured) after it received a letter threatening attacks on foreign passengers and naval vessels at the port. The missive, which was received on Tuesday, is reported to have been written on a post card in English and was addressed to the Port Trust Chairman. Local police are believed to be investigating the matter and port authorities are confident that the increased security measures will prove adequate. [23/03/07]
