Cosco Guangdong grabs bulker orders

Guangdong: Cosco (Guangdong) Shipyard has secured $51m worth of bulker orders. Majority shareholder Cosco Corp said the yard had bagged contracts to build a 57,000 dwt bulker and 35,000 dwt bulker for an undisclosed European owner. The company said the yard had received initial deposits for the orders The bulk carriers which will be built at Cosco (Guangdong) shipyards are scheduled for deliveries in August 2012 and December 2012 respectively.
