Hong Kong: Cosco Pacific Ltd said it would sell nearly 9% of its marine containers and provide related container leasing management service to an Austrian company in deals worth US$194.7 million. The Chinese shipping group said in a statement that it would sell marine containers with an aggregate capacity of about 104,663 teu to a third party, SLI Dritte Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, for US$68.7 million. The Hong Kong-listed firm will also provide service to manage the containers and the related customers' leases in another deal worth US$126 million. [22/11/07]
