At an operational level however the dry bulk operator managed to turn around from a $640,000 loss to a small $188,000 gain as it slashed costs by a quarter to $4.8m.
Revenue however fell 12% from $5.7m in the first quarter of last year to $5m in this year, reflecting the poor current dry bulk rates, Courage Marine said to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
