Crane collapse kills seven

Hanoi: Seven people have died and another is seriously injured following the collapse of a gantry crane at Cai Lan Port in Quang Ninh province in northern Vietnam yesterday. The gantry was one of two imported from China as replacements for two damaged by a cyclone in November 2006. [16/7/08]
