Moscow: Leading container liner, China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) has launched the first intermodal container railway transport service between China and Russia. The 26 day service, in conjunction with the state owned China Railway Container Transport and the Russian Ministry of Railways, will depart from Jiangsu's Lianyun Port and feature Xinjiang, Kazakhstan and Moscow as destinations.
CSCL and China Railway Container already offer domestic intermodal transport between Shanghai and several ports including Dalian, Harbin and Hefei. [22/10/07]
