Seoul: Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co Ltd said it has secured a US$1.27bn order from Chevron Corp's Angola unit Cabinda Gulf Oil Co Ltd for a drilling and production platform. Once completed, the platform will produce 130,000 barrels of oil a day on the Tombua-Landana field offshore Angola, the shipbuilder said. [31/08/06]
