Shanghai: China has its first shipping investment trust. Launched by Shanghai listed Anxin Trust and Investment on Tuesday the Yuan Cheng No.1 - Ship-pledged Loan Capital Trust Programme plans to raise up to Yuan170m from domestic retail investors which will then go to a local owner in Zhejiang province called Deqin Enterprise to pay for four handysize ships. [12/11/08]
