Deep Sea Supply confirms 10 PSV deal
Norway’s Deep Sea Supply has completed the acquisition of 10 PSVs at a total price of $366m from PSV Holdings, owned by Greenwich Holdings.

Deep Sea Supply said that the vessels Sea Falcon, Sea Flyer, Sea Tantalus, Sea Titus, Sea Tortuga, and Sea Supra are now owned by the company. The remaining four vessels are under construction and will be delivered in the second half of this year.

Chinese yard Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group and Sri Lanka’s Cochin Shipyard are the builders of the offshore vessels.

Deep Sea Supply said the PSVs are state-of-the-art vessels of Norwegian design with good cargo capacities, low fuel consumption, and well equipped.

Deep Sea Supply had earlier announced that it intended to secure bank financing in the amount of about $200m towards the acquisition of the 10 PSVs.

Greenwich Holdings is an affiliated company of Hemen Holding, which in turn is an investment company under shipping tycoon John Fredriksen.
