Seoul: Hamburg Süd is due to take delivery of twin 3,752teu container vessels from the Okpo yard of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) tomorrow. The Bahia and Bahia Blanca (pictured) are the first of a series of six sisterships measuring 254mtr in length. Equipped with 610 reefer plugs each, they are capable of 21.5 knots service speed. Shortly after delivery they will be phased into Hamburg Süd's liner services between Asia and South America East Coast. [31/1/07]
