Efficiency gains drive Pelindo II profits
Jakarta: Pelindo II reportedly saw first quarter net income rise 76% profit from IDR513bn ($53m) in the previous corresponding period, helped by efficiency improvements although revenue only increased 10%.

Pelindo II’s net income rose 21% to IDR1.79trn last year. Revenue stood at IDR6.41trn in 2012.

Indonesia's main port operator is aiming to increase efficiency further and reduce turnover time to three days from the current 6.2 days.
